Stephanie Singer has taught information literacy skills, empathy, and more for the last fourteen years as the Library Media Specialist at Readington Middle School. She currently serves as co-President of Hunterdon County Librarians Association, on the state Battle of the Books committee, advisor to the Junior Librarians and Color Guard clubs, and as the mom of two teenage daughters.  She has presented on school librarianship topics at multiple conferences in New Jersey, Tennessee, Georgia, and Hawaii, and was named Outstanding Library Media Specialist of the Year by the New Jersey Association of School Librarians in 2016.  She was most recently honored with a Governor's Educator of the Year award as an Educational Services Professional.  She graduated from Rutgers University as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society with dual degrees in Communication and Spanish.  She also earned her MLIS degree from Rutgers University after a short career in public relations.  She most recently concluded her Maker Education certification coursework through the Rutgers Graduate School of Education.
