Welcome to Hunterdon County Battle of the Books!
Battle of the Books is a reading trivia competition sponsored by the New Jersey Association of School Librarians. There are three levels: Grades 3&4, Grades 5&6, and Grades 7&8. The Hunterdon County Battle of the Books competes with the Grades 7&8 book list. Whether your school conducts an internal Battle of the Books, participates in the Hunterdon County regional tournament, or both, here is the information you will need to succeed!
Our regional tournament will be held at RMS on Thursday, April 16th.

RMS's The Children of Exile Return Again won the 2025 Hunterdon County Battle of the Books. The trophy will be housed in the RMS LMC until next year's tournament.
