VOTE 

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4

READINGTON TOWNSHIP SCHOOL DISTRICT WILL HOLD A BOND REFERENDUM (VOTE) ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4. THE DISTRICT ENCOURAGES EVERY ELIGIBLE RESIDENT TO CAST A BALLOT.


DATES TO REMEMBER

September 9 Referendum tour at Three Bridges School at 6:00 PM

September 30 Referendum tour at Whitehouse School at 6:00 PM

October 14 Referendum tour at Readington Middle School at 5:30 PM with Holland Brook School thereafter

October 14 Deadline for new or updated voter registration 

October 28 Last day to apply to have a Vote By Mail ballot mailed to you 

November 3 at 3PM Last day to pick up a Vote By Mail ballot in person 

November 4 In-person voting from 6 am - 8 pm at your regular voting location

November 4 Last Day for Vote By Mail ballots to be postmarked for return



REGISTER TO VOTE

Residents must be registered to vote by October 14 

  • Check the voter registration database if you recently moved and are unsure if your registration is up to date. 

  • If you previously registered to vote with the same name and Readington address, you do not need to take action. 

  • Register online or update your name/address by completing a voter registration form.  

  • Register by mail by printing and mailing a paper registration form to the HUNTERDON COUNTY PERMANENT REGISTRATION OFFICE , PO BOX 2900, FLEMINGTON, NJ 08822-9895 . You can also request a voter registration application be mailed to you. 

TWO WAYS TO VOTE

AT THE POLLS

Polls will be open on November 4 from 6 am - 8 pm at your regular polling location

If you are turned away at your polling place for any reason, ask for a provisional ballot. This preserves your right to vote. Your provisional ballot will be counted after officials confirm your eligibility. 


FIND YOUR POLL LOCATION

MAIL-IN BALLOT

To request a Vote By Mail ballot, download an application. The county must receive that application by mail by October 28 to mail you a ballot, or in-person by November 3 at 3 p.m. to give you a ballot in person. 

  • When you receive your Vote By Mail ballot, fill it out and either:    

  • Mail it in with a postmark by November 4 

  • Deliver it in person to the County Clerk’s Office or leave it in a drop box before polls close on November 4.
