With the passage of the referendum in November 2025, projects in summer 2026 entailed those that could be accomplished with shorter design and lead-times that could still be properly vetted. Design, architectural plans, bidding, product ordering and other factors lead to many projects (i.e. HVAC, BMS systems, intercom systems, etc.) being planned during the 2027-2028 school year. Additionally, there are numerous projects the district plans to pursue energy efficiency programs to offset the costs to taxpayers.
Please be aware the district holds a philosophy that academics and safety of student and staff are foremost; therefore construction is typically limited to summer, extended breaks or holiday timeframes to maximum extent possible.
