Third Grade Honors Math is a fast-paced, rigorous program designed for students who demonstrate advanced mathematical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Students in Honors Math will:
Explore mathematics at greater depth and complexity.
Develop strong critical-thinking and reasoning skills.
Engage in challenging problem-solving tasks.
Explain and justify mathematical thinking.
Build perseverance when solving complex problems.
Prepare for future advanced mathematics opportunities.
Because this is an accelerated program, students are expected to actively participate, complete assignments, and practice skills regularly at home.
