Joining this project with desire to gain skills that she can apply in a professional setting, Melody currently acts exclusively as one of our writers. With little experience in the media but much skill, Melody looks forward to hearing and handling the stories of alumni and getting to share them with current and future students of Reading Senior High.
With a wide range of media interests and previous experience in filming, editing, and writing, Higgins has been involved in the project for two years and is using this year to further her skills in various areas. She is currently the website's main editor and writer. With hopes of doing something in the media industry or humanities, Higgins looks forward to seeing where this project goes after graduation.
Joining this project for the second year in a row, Clariss enjoys the opportunity that being part of the class gives her to build connections, meet new people, and to gain practical experiences that she'll get to apply professionally. Originally interested in journalism, but now aiming for the medical field, she's taking this year to pass her knowledge onto the new team members, and is excited to see what the future holds!
Becoming a part of this project because she thought interviewing alumni would be fun, and having previously been involved in yearbook, Arielys is involved in a little bit of everything behind the scenes, and is interested in branching out toward camera-work. Looking forward to getting to know previous alumni and harboring aspirations of becoming a lawyer, Arielys is excited to bring good press about the alumni of Reading.
Joining this project out of impulse after being invited by Mr. Hughes, having both worked on the yearbook and taken photography classes, Zahavah mainly works behind the scenes, researching and contacting alumni. She's looking forward to working on her professional communication skills with the hope of being involved in theater or forensics, which aids in giving her a unique perspective when contacting alumni.
Having joined this project mainly to learn more about editing, Nevaeh has her hands in a bit of everything behind the scenes. With aspirations in podcasting and fashion design, and having dabbled in video-making in her youth, Nevaeh offers the team a creative and forward-thinking perspective while working on skills that will help her in her future.
As a member of CTC, and as someone who spends her free time writing, Ashley is a fan of journalism and hopes to become a music journalist in the future. Serving the team as an all-rounder while focusing on writing, Ashley looks forward to sharing stories from successful alumni and shining light upon the positive parts of being a student at Reading Senior High School, all while learning the skills necessary to achieve her goals.
With little experience in media but boundless amounts of enthusiasm, Jenaya was recruited by Mr. Hughes for her outgoing personality and love of talking with people. Jenaya serves as one of our on-camera personalities and is interested in branching out toward editing and writing. With aspirations to someday become a WWE superstar, Jenaya looks forward to someday coming back for her own interview!
Having previously been involved in the yearbook and scouted for this project by Mr. Hughes, Kahmya doubles as an editor and on-camera personality. She enjoys the chance this class gives her to get to know the stories of our alumni, and looks forward to making the most of what the project has to offer in terms of sharing the stories of alumni—and the snacks that can be gained is a bonus!
