WELCOME! I'm Mr. Immendorf, your AP Physics 1 Instructor, and I am glad to have you as part of my class.
Students should be prepared for general science mathematics. These include but are not limited to Scientific Notation, Exponents and Logarithms, Right Triangle Trigonometry, Significant Figures, and Geometry. The summer work is focused on this as well as introducing Vectors, Vector Addition, Resolving Vectors, and Vector Components. In addition to the worksheets and notes, you can access Khan Academy for a quick review before attempting the work.
We are getting new texts, College Physics for the AP Physics 1 & 2 Courses - 3rd edition. They are not here yet but will be by the end of the summer.
