Our Habitat for Humanity Club works year-round to not only lower the cost of our service trip to Winston-Salem, NC, but also to give back to our local community. Through creative fundraising events and service projects, we aim to make a meaningful impact both near and far.
Habitat for Humanity Winston-Salem Trip
In July, the Habitat for Humanity Club embarks on a service trip to Winston-Salem, NC, partnering with Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth County. Students spend the week building homes, working on construction sites from 8 AM to 3 PM, and helping families in need.
Key Highlights:
Lodging: Stay in dorm-style accommodations with bunk beds, kitchen facilities, and showers.
Work: Build homes under the guidance of Habitat staff, focusing on teamwork and skill-building.
Community Time: Enjoy group lunches, dinners, games, visits to the original Krispy Kreme, Reynolda Gardens, Graylyn Estate Grounds, Winston Waterworks Water Park, and other local excursions.
Celebration: We celebrate our work at Camel City BBQ Factory for local bbq!
This rewarding trip offers students a chance to make a tangible impact, develop skills, and foster lasting memories while serving the community.
