RMHS Band Mission Statement
RMHS Band Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Reading Memorial High School Band Program to develop the individual student through comprehensive musical experiences that permute the knowledge, skills, aesthetics, and values necessary to become free-thinking individuals, independent musicians, life long learners, informed consumers of music, participants of music making, and supporters of music and music education.

Marching Band
Marching Band
Marching Band is an extra curricular ensemble that requires no audition. The Marching Band performs at NESBA competitions throughout New England as well as many community events.
Symphonic Band
Symphonic Band
Symphonic Band is a Concert ensemble that requires no audition. This band meets during the school day, and performs at concerts throughout the year.
Jazz ensemble
Jazz ensemble
Jazz Ensemble is the auditioned curricular band at RMHS. Jazz Ensemble plays a veriety of jazz literature. They perform at UNH Clark Terry Jazz Festival, Essental Ellington Regional Festival and MAJE Festivals. Auditions are held in March each year.

Stage Band
Stage Band
