This step should take place in the beginning of a program. The child will need to be added to the Summer Literacy Coach to eligible for a quiz.

This step should take place in the beginning of a program and then every 6 weeks. The child will need to have a quiz to receive their Grade Equivalent and Age Equivalent placement. It is recommended to administer the quiz with children every 6 weeks to track growth.
This should occur every time Step 2 - Take Quizzes is implemented. The groupings in the Summer Literacy Coach are created by the results of the child's quiz results. Therefore, after each quiz cycle, the groups should be recreated.
This should occur every time you have created new groups in Step 3 - Create Groups. The secret sauce to Summer Literacy Coach is the distribution of time on focused activities. As a child's development grows, so should the focus of our instruction.
The Minute Calculator is a google sheet that helps you determine the distribution of time spent on the different type of activities and then tracking the minutes spent on those activities.
