Marine Science Summer Camps
Woods Hole Sea Grant (WHSG) and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) in collaboration with Earthwatch Institute offers a Girls in Science Program. This is a competitive, week-long, fully funded, residential fellowship in Woods Hole for 10 young women from Massachusetts currently in their sophomore or junior year of high school.
Applications will become available on April 1, 2021 and will be accepted until May 14, 2021.
BSSP invites a small number of exceptional and mature high school students with a keen interest in science to spend six weeks at the Broad Institute, working side-by-side with scientists in the lab on cutting-edge research. Rising seniors who live within commuting distance to the Broad Institute are eligible to apply.
The MIT Women's Technology Program (WTP) is a rigorous four-week summer academic and residential experience where female high school students explore engineering through hands-on classes, labs, and team-based projects in the summer after 11th grade. Students choose either Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) or Mechanical Engineering (ME).
Information about summer 2020 and the application will be available at the end of November.

Biogen Community Lab, Cambridge, MA

Biogen offers week-long sessions for high school students, who must have completed at least 9th grade by this summer. Please see below for information about our program.
Each session meets daily from 9AM to 4PM, but only until 1PM on Friday. Students are expected to attend the entirety of the program. This program is free and lunch is provided each day.
Draper Laboratories
ANNOUNCEMENT: The High School internship will not run in the summer of 2021. We want to assure that students get the most hands on experience with members of the Draper Staff on their internship projects and for this reason the 2021 high school summer program will not run this year. Please check back for the 2022 schedule when it is available.
