In order for each child/adolescent to succeed at school, they must first be physically and emotionally ready to accept the challenges. School health services seeks to provide the safest and most healthful environment for students during their time at The Rutland Town School.

The health office attempts to remove any health related barriers that exist for each individual student. This is accomplished by identifying possible health problems during screening procedures and assessments in the health office, providing first aid for illness or injuries which occur during school hours and working with parents and students to develop plans of care that meet each child's individual health needs.
