Meet Mr. Whitman

Born and raised in Brattleboro, VT.
Graduate of University of Massachusetts (Bachelor of Music Education)
Graduate of Ithaca College (Master of Music, Percussion Performance)
Taught at Rutland City Public Schools for 19 years: high school and elementary school band, middle school and elementary school chorus, elementary classroom music teacher.
Freelance musician: performed with the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, Vermont Jazz Ensemble, East Bay Jazz Band, and other area musical ensembles; directed hand bell choir; private music studio.
Lives in Rutland with his wife and two children and one dog.
