My name is Mrs. Monteverde, and I am your Middle School Religion teacher! This is my second year at RCS, and my 11th year teaching. I am born and raised in Polk county. I have been married for 7 years. I am a mother to three littles, 5,3, and 1.5 year old. I guess that makes me a circus ringmaster. I am an alumnus of Florida State University for my undergrad and I received my Master's in Theology from the University of Dallas. My life is centered around my faith and I am devoted to the Catholic Church and all her teachings. Living my faith, and sharing my love for the Lord is something I get to do every day as a teacher, and it is such an honor.

What to Expect
Middle School Theology at Resurrection follows the standards and guidelines set in place by the Diocese of Orlando. In addition to meeting all the standards, my goal for all students is to realize their own innate goodness. We are all made in the image and likeness of God, which makes us good to our very core. In a busy world filled with many unknown aspects , I strive to make all my students feel safe, and cared for. Your child is called to be a Saint, and it is an honor to walk alongside them on their journey. Please pray for us during this new school year.
