School Counseling  Mission Statement

The mission of the Buljan Middle School Counseling Department is to maximize learning for each and every one of our students through the support of their social, emotional, academic, and career development. A comprehensive, evidence-based, data-driven school counseling program provides equity and access to all students through the delivery of core curriculum lessons, small group counseling, and individual counseling using a tiered system of support to define services. School counselors act as advocates, supporting success for every student as they develop the skills to maximize their learning, think critically, achieve their post-secondary goals, and reach their fullest potential as productive and responsible citizens.

 School Counseling Vision Statement

The vision of the Buljan Middle School Counseling Department is for all students to be successful at high levels in their post-secondary plans, contribute positively to a global society with respect and kindness, and apply resiliency and coping skills to meet social/emotional, academic, and career needs. As enthusiastic learners dedicated to continuous improvement, students will think critically, be responsible citizens, and act with integrity as they experience success in their professional and personal lives.
