I grew up in Mountain View and attended schools in Los Altos. I graduated from Los Altos High School at the age of sixteen and received my college degree and teaching credential at Santa Clara University. I have taught in Portola Valley, Mountain View, San Jose, Sunnyvale, and San Francisco. I have worked for the Redwood City School District for 12 years now.
I have one brother and three sisters. I am a proud auntie of five nieces and two nephews. Estella is starting college this year. She wanted to study biology and chemistry and become a pharmacist one day. Her sister, Ellie, is starting high school this year. Ellie loves to learn math and robotic. My nephew Dylan is in eighth grade and Davin is in third grade. Dylan thinks Davin is "too wild" so he is very protective of his little brother. Both boys love to bike and workout with their dad. Ava is in seventh grade this year and she enjoys building Star Wars lego, ballet, gymnastic, and playing on her piano. Her sister, Lia, is starting third grade this year. Lia likes to bike, swim, and help her dad in the garden. Ella is our youngest. She enjoys sharing her food with Parker (her family's dog) and snuggling up in bed with her mommy.
I spent this summer traveling through Europe with my fiancé. We started in Rome, visiting Venice, Zurich, Salzburg, Hallstatt, Vienna, Budapest, and ended our trip in Istanbul. I do not have a television or radio at home so I read everything. My cat, Fluffy, likes to eat ramen and sleep on my pillows.
