These ThingLink presentations on Digital Citizenship were created by several Monroe HS seniors (Mrs. Caton's class) in 2016 in collaboration with Mrs. Daly (librarian) and Mrs. Kowba (librarian) as a gift to future students of Monroe High School.
- Their purpose is to explain:
- about what cyberbullying is
- how it affects students
- what a digital footprint is
- how students can be aware of the ways their digital footprint follows them through life
- how to be safe online
Each presentation includes:
- a background picture that suits the topic
- another picture with definition to help students further understand the topic
- a link to the website with more information
- embedded video
- a survey to understand what students already know
- an exit ticket to assess student learning
Some presentations included a piece sharing a personal experience related to the topic.
