About me

I have lived in Honeoye Falls as a child and graduated from Honeoye Falls-Lima school district. After graduating I enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany and Turkey for four years. I enjoyed learning about other people and cultures while overseas. When I returned home I attended college at Buffalo State College. I then decided that I wanted to teach and transferred to Brockport State , where I completed my undergraduate work. At that time I took a few years off and worked in the corporate world, but knew that was not what I wanted to do the rest of my life, so I went back to school for my Masters in Education. I completed that at Nazareth College and then got my first teaching job in the school that I attended as a child! I taught third grade in Honeoye Falls for a few years and knew that I had found the career that I was looking for. But, I thought that I would prefer working with older students and now am enjoying teaching 6th graders here at School #7.

I currently live in Webster, NY and I enjoy training in Mixed Martial Arts, camping, exercising and watching Basketball in my free time.
