ROC City Players Districtwide Theater Program Recruitment: Any student in grades 4-12 (9/18 – 10/9)
The ROC City Players Districtwide Theater Program is looking for students to join them for a production of "Into the Woods, Jr." Any student in grades 4-12 that is interested in acting, dancing, singing, set construction, and/or running tech will find participation to be an enjoyable, educational and rewarding experience. The first meeting is Tuesday, October 18th from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Northeast College Prep High School (Charlotte Campus). Guardians are required to attend the first meeting to go over expectations and complete documentation. Please consider supporting your students and ROC City Players by printing and sharing the attached flyer with your students and staff, and promoting this program with your school-based communications (newsletters, announcements, etc.). The Pride of Rochester Districtwide Marching Band Recruitment: Any student in grades 5-12 (9/18 – 10/2)
The Pride of Rochester Marching Band is looking for students to join them for the Fall and Spring season. Any student in grades 5-12 interested in marching band can participate as a wind musician, percussionist, color guard, or pit musician (stationary drums, guitar, bass, etc.). Participation highlights include traveling, performing throughout the community, camaraderie, and pride. Students are encouraged to join by emailing theprideofrochester@rcsd121.org or joining the Google Classroom (Code: 75wazya). Rehearsals are at the Northwest College Prep Middle School Campus. The Teen Center at Central Library and some areas at other branch libraries do offer spaces and wifi/computer access but, again, make sure students/families call ahead to check on the hours and services that are available at this time.
