When the new All-in-One Computer is mounted in the classroom, the following Settings are Recommended:
Change how long before the computer goes to sleep and locks the screen during inactivity.
When you leave the room, make sure to lock your computer with Windows Key + L to secure your account.
Set Google Chrome to be the default web browser to open all links in your email and documents in Google Chrome rather than Microsoft Edge.
Set PDFs to open in Google Chrome on the All-in-One to easily write using SMART Ink on the SMART Panel.
Pin Google Chrome to the taskbar tray to make it easy to access.
Unpin Microsoft Edge so you don't mistakenly use Edge to access the web.
Sign in to access your RCSD Google Drive, Google Classroom, all of your Google Documents, ROConnect, and all of your bookmarks.
OneDrive allows for all of your Laptop files and Desktop files to sync to the cloud and appear on any device where OneDrive is logged in.
In most cases, this is already set up on your laptop and the All-in-One computer attached to the SMART Panel.
