Reframing Rochester is a budding project from the RCSD Social Studies Department that is just in the beginning stages of development. Our aim is to uncover and record the histories of our city that have been hidden, silenced, or gone untold and make these stories a part of our students’ experiences at school. By working with individual community members, scholars, and local organizations, we will bring these histories to our city’s students - celebrating and framing Rochester as the rich, vibrant, and powerful community that it is.
