Dear School Monroe Campus Families,

It is with great excitement that I would like to introduce myself as the Principal of James Monroe Lower School. My goal as a Principal has always been to ensure that everything we do is in the best interest of students. I also ensure that the adults are supported as well. It is my priority that everyone in the school family feels respected, trusted, and valued. This combination will lead to success for all students!

To share some of my professional background, I began my first year of teaching at John Marshall High School before moving to Greece Apollo Middle School for six years. My administrative career began at School No. 7, where I served as an Assistant Principal for two years and Principal for eight years. In 2010, I transitioned to Charlotte High School for one year before embarking on the amazing journey of opening the Leadership Academy for Young Men, where it was my honor to serve as Principal for eight years. I then served as the Principal of Theodore Roosevelt School No. 43 for one year before being named Principal at James Monroe Lower School.

I look forward to working with all of our families and staff in accomplishing our Vison that the Monroe Campus will be the Jewel of the City!
