Seventh Grade art class meets every day for one quarter. We meet for 35 minutes Monday-Friday.

Students will learn about and explore the elements of art. Line, Shape, Value, Color, Texture, Space, and Form. Assignments will consist of creating art in a variety of mediums (hands on-sometimes messy!), reading and writing about current and past artists, and learning about the visual arts connects to technology.

Students will

-Expand their drawing skills

-Explore two-dimensional art

-Create three-dimensional artwork

-Analyze famous (and not so famous) works of art.

-Use personal experiences to create their own art.
