About me!

I have taught art for many years, and all different grades! Shh, don't tell, but I love teaching middle school the best!! Seeing my students explore their artistic abilities is one of my favorite things!

My husband, Jack, is retired from the Automotive Business. We have two daughters-Kim is an accountant and floral designer. Megan (Mrs. Sims) is one of the school counselors at RTHS. Tyler is my son in law and he is one of the art teachers at Urbana High School.

We also have a wonderful granddaughter, Reagan. She loves unicorns and mermaids.

We have a Boxer/Australian Shepherd puppy named Laila!! We also have several grand dogs, a grand cat, and a grand horse!!

My Family!

We love to do puzzles!

I am very good at them, as you can see.

Students will be assessed both formally and informally through observation, quizzes, and projects. Students will work as individuals, in team settings, and as an entire class. Daily participation in art activities will be vital to the students learning. Students may earn points daily by positively participating, helping others, assisting in clean up, etc. The following is a break-down of the grading system:
