Professional Background and Organizational Leadership: I bring over 12 years of progressive administrative, business management, and organizational leadership experience, currently serving as an Office Administrator at the University of Illinois. I specialize in executive partnership, policy compliance, fiscal stewardship, and complex operational governance. I hold an Associate in Applied Science in Business Management from Parkland College. I believe my diverse background across higher education administration, customer service, and local small business operations provides me with a practical, well-rounded understanding of fiscal responsibility, strategic planning, and collaborative leadership for Rantoul City Schools District 137.
Board Vision and Goals: As a board member, I am dedicated to macro-level stewardship that supports long-term district success and operational excellence. I am committed to maintaining transparent communication with district families, providing responsible fiscal oversight, and championing collaborative partnerships between educators, staff, and the community. Above all, my guiding priority is ensuring that every school in District 137 delivers a safe, equitable, and high-quality learning environment. I will continue to learn and grow to ensure that I support the district to the best of my ability.
Personal and Family Connection: My husband and I have been Rantoul residents for nearly eight years. We have one daughter who recently started Kindergarten within the district. My husband and I intentionally chose Rantoul as our family's home so our child would have direct access to the rich educational and creative opportunities available throughout RCS. We also have two dogs and a handful of fish who patiently wait for her to come home from school each day!
