I graduated from Dalton State College in 2013 with my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and my ESOL endorsement. I began graduate school at Valdosta State University and graduated in 2016 with my Master's Degree in middle grades math and science. I also received my gifted endorsement in 2017 and my STEM endorsement in 2021. I have been teaching at Rome Middle School since I began teaching in 2014. In my time here I have taught 7th-grade science, ELA, and geography. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have been married to my husband, Zach, since 2014. We have two kids together, Allysa & Beau. We also have 13 chickens, 2 geese, 3 dogs, 2 cats, and a fish. We enjoy traveling, camping in our RV, being outside, and football. GO DAWGS! I like to read when I have some extra time and I love going to concerts with my sister!
I was born and raised in Rome, GA and recently moved back in 2022. I graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. In 2021 I received a Master's Degree in Psychology with a concentration on Child and Developmental Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University. I started at RMS as a Paraprofessional before pursuing my teaching certificate through the University of West Florida. I am currently certified in Georgia and Florida to teach middle grades (5-9) math. I also assisted in coaching the RMS volleyball team in 2022. In my free time I enjoy traveling, country music concerts with my sister, hanging out with my niece and nephew, and playing with my cat Khloe!
I graduated from the University of West Georgia in 2014 with my Bachelor's Degree in Middle Grades Language Arts and Social Studies. In 2017, I received my gifted endorsement, and I am now working towards a STEM endorsement. I have been teaching 7th Grade Social Studies at Rome Middle School since I began teaching in 2015. In 2018, I joined the 7th grade STEM team and spent four years teaching ELA. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband (who is the 8th grade Georgia Studies STEM teacher) and I have two sons, Lincoln and Atticus. We enjoy traveling, going to Braves games, cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, and taking care of our numerous pets! I also enjoy reading, watching Netflix, and volunteering at Floyd Felines.
I am Andrea Davis. I graduated from Shorter University with a Bachelors of Science and English Language Arts in Middle Grades Education. This is my 2nd year teaching. During my first year, I taught 6th grade Science and 6th-8th grade STEM. I am now teaching 7th grade ELA within the STEM academy here at Rome Middle School. In my free time, I love to spend time with my new baby boy, Zion. I love to fish, go to Braves games, and watch college football. I also enjoy reading, watching movies, and taking naps!
