I graduated from Georgia Highlands in 2018 with an Associate's in History and went to Jacksonville State University for my Bachelor's in Secondary Education and graduated in 2021. I teach Georgia Studies on STEM. I am certified to teach Middle Grades ELA (4th-8th grade) and History (6th-12th grade.) I am currently working towards a STEM certification. I am also an assistant coach for the RMS baseball team.
When I am not at school, I love spending time with my family, I have a wife Lesley (who also teaches), and two boys, Lincoln and Atticus. We like playing games, being outside, camping, fishing, hiking, and watching the Braves and Bulldogs play. We also have pets to take care of, a dog, 4 cats, and a pig.
Hi! I'm Kenzie Fisher, and I teach 8th grade STEM Physical Science. I graduated from North Paulding High School in 2017, and moved to Rome to attend Shorter University. In 2021, I completed my degree in Middle Grades Education and am certified to teach grades 4th-8th Science and ELA. I am also the head middle school volleyball coach here at Rome Middle School, and am involved on our PBIS team to create events for outstanding students!
I am married to my husband Alex, who is also a former educator, and we enjoy traveling and coaching club (travel) volleyball at Tsunami together. We have a German Shepherd named Hyda, who we rescued spontaneously off the streets of Louisiana while on vacation, and can not imagine our lives without her! In our free time, we love to be outdoors with our dog, explore new places, reading books, and are avid sports watchers (Roll Tide & Geaux Tigers). I also enjoy the artsy side of life, and can play multiple instruments along with calligraphy and drawing.
I was born and raised in Rome, Georgia. I graduated from Coosa High School in 2017. After high school, I completed my Associate's Degree in Business Administration at Georgia Highlands College. I then went on to study middle-grade education at Shorter University, concentrating on English language arts and social studies. This summer, I began my Masters program at Valdosta State University. Outside of school, I teach dance at The Dance Centre and am involved with Rome Little Theatre! I also love watching all things Alabama (Roll Tide) and the Atlanta Braves. I enjoy going to concerts, watching Netflix, playing with my dog Lola, and spending time with my friends and family!
I graduated from Pepperell High School in 2017, then I attended Berry College where I completed my bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Education with a concentration in math and social studies in 2021. In 2023, I completed my masters in Curriculum & Instruction from Berry College. Now, I’m beginning my specialist degree from the University of West Georgia! I love going to the beach with my friends, cheering on the Dawgs on Saturdays, and enjoy running with my best friend. I just completed my first half marathon last October, and I’m hoping to run another one this year!
