Welcome to the Maury River Middle School PTO Information page. We would like you to know we will continue to support our beloved MRMS family of teachers, staff and students. It may look different, but we are still here for you! Please check back periodically to find updates and ways we can use YOUR help to support our school!

PTO MRMS spirit wear sale

MRMS spirit wear is now on sale and available for you to purchase online until Nov. 5th. Please go to http://www.osarkprinting.com and select MRMS on the taskbar at the top.

Student Support

If your student can use some guidance or extra care during this time, please remember that our amazing counselors are here for them. Please feel free to reach out to Ms. Beard tori_beard@rockbridge.k12.va.us or Mrs. Camden hillary_camden@rockbridge.k12.va.us for any concerns - OR even if your student just needs a high five!

THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO SENT IN MEMBERSHIP FORMS

The money brought in from our membership dues goes directly back to our school. As a PTO, we keep 100% of our dues and donations, which allows us to do things like this for MRMS:

• Support grade level field trips and award programs for students

• Work with Mr. Schucker to provide food and services for the All Area Band Auditions held at MRMS

• Purchased new sound equipment for the music dept

• Host a Spring Fling to bring the MRMS community together to end the school year

• Host a fun day welcoming incoming 6th graders to MRMS

• Help to provide a catered lunch and trip for each grade level at the end of the school year

• Purchase cheer equipment

• Run the concession stand during basketball season

• Help fund positive behavior programs

• Provide teacher appreciation gifts throughout the year including meals, sweet treats and gift certificates

Due to COVID restrictions, we are unable to do many of these things for the foreseeable future. But there are still many ways we can help out our school. We have been brainstorming to come up with creative ways to continue our support during the pandemic. Feel free to email mrmpto678@gmail.com if you have a great idea or would like to help.
