Comp and Lit

Our Our Comp and Lit curriculum focuses on integrated reading and writing activities that will strengthen students' literacy skills. Writers will build skills, stamina, and proficiency in response to text. Another essential element of this class is building readers' fluency and interest in reading. As a community of readers and writers, learners will build their skills that will transfer across all content areas.

• Notice & Note signposts for narrative and informational text

  • Whole-class novel studies and informational text units to support argument writing and research writing
