This session will discuss the role of social, emotional, and behavioral health in esports. SEL is immensely important in the growing field of esports and is a huge selling point to stakeholders when starting a team or league. Esports presents a unique opportunity to have students involved with a team that may not be able to participate on other traditional sports teams for a variety of reasons. With that in mind we will discuss how to optimize esports teams to support these students. This workshop will also address strengths and challenges specific to esports from the SEL perspective.
