ROBERT COLLEGE AND ISTANBUL:
RCSA takes place on the campus of Robert College, the oldest American school outside the borders of the United States. Istanbul is the leading MUN city in Europe and Robert College, with its 65-acre campus and a scenic view of the Bosphorus, is located at the heart of this multicultural city. Historical and cultural landmarks scattered around the campus, as well as the never-ending liveliness of Istanbul, guarantee a memorable trip for RCSA participants. We also offer you the chance to enjoy the beautiful campus as well as the city through such activities as our opening dinner, an optional sightseeing tour of the historical tourist areas of the city and our traditional Bosphorus boat tour. Since our attendees’ safety is our main concern at RCSA, we would like to reassure you about the safety of our venue. Our conference venue is the campus of Robert College of Istanbul, situated in the heart of Istanbul, and our institution takes security seriously. Especially in the last few years, Robert College has updated and tightened its security policies; such as forbidding unknown vehicle entrance, guarding gates with at least three security staff, and not allowing entrance without an unregistered ID. These measures have made the campus of Robert College one of the safest places in Istanbul. As for the city of Istanbul, it is today no different from any other major European city with security measures in place to guarantee the well-being of guests and tourists.
THE CONFERENCE:
RCSA, with its highly motivated organizer board, ensures a smooth process before, during and after the conference through innovative practices such as the online approval panel and online participant system. We are certain that RCSA will continue to maintain its high quality of debate and the friendly atmosphere among its international participants in the upcoming year. Our aim is to gather enthusiastic participants and provide them a chance to make connections from around the world, enjoy a magnificent city, and engage in quality debates at the same time. We hope to achieve this goal by blending our own experience as the RCSA board with your participation, and as a result, creating a productive and enjoyable environment in a peaceful atmosphere.
REGISTRATION AND APPLICATIONS:
RCSA is implementing a limit on the number of participants that will be admitted to the conference. Like previous years, all participants wishing to participate should fill out the Form to indicate their interest in RCSA 2026. However, keep in mind that filling out the Form is not binding and does not guarantee a spot in RCSA 2026, therefore please do not purchase any plane or hotel tickets before delegation assignments.
The Registration Form for Delegate and Student Officer applications can be found on the "Application Form" page. The deadline to apply for both of these positions is TBA.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us at rcsa@rcimun.org for any questions or concerns. We look forward to hearing from you!
Sincerely,
