Day 1:
Explore Guilin and Longji rice terraces
Including Karst scenery, sunset hike to mountain top and rice terraces
Day 2:
Explore Longji and Yangshuo
Including village exploration, cultural survey, adventure race and trivia night
Day 3:
Explore Yangshuo and countryside
Including bike riding, Guilin Mifen lunch and bamboo rafting
Day 4:
Explore Yangshuo and countryside
Including via ferrata mountain course, farm to table cooking and party pit
Day 5:
Return to Hong Kong
Including mosaic workshop, Karst sunrise walk and gratitude activity
KEY FACTS:
This trip is 5 days and 4 nights
It will run from Monday to Friday
Parents are responsible for arranging the necessary visas, but RCHK can provide supporting letters to help with this process
If there are more applications for this trip than there are spaces available, students will be chosen based on the citation they submitted on the google form sign up and in discussion with Head of Year and trip leader
This is a Year 8 only trip based in China
Travel will be via high speed train and coach
Please note the meeting point on the Monday will be West Kowloon station. This is also where students will be collected upon their return to Hong Kong on the Friday
