This trip will be run by our wonderful Chinese department and Shaanxi China Travel Service. Shaanxi is one of our trusted partners with many years of experience, running outstanding educational experiences outside of the classroom, for international schools across the world.

Day 1:
Meet at HK international airport
Arrival in Xi'an, airport pickup and dinner
Day 2:
Terracotta Army Museum, make warriors
Guangzhong Folk Arts Museum, Great Tang Ever-bright City, lunch and dinner
Day 3:
Full day Mount Hua hiking, lunch and dinner
Day 4:
Hanyangling museum and archaeological digging
Han Dynasty sport games, the Mosque and Muslim Quarter, lunch and dinner
Day 5:
Stroll on the ancients City wall, drive to the airport and fly home back to HK

This trip is 5 days and 4 nights
The exact days on which the trip will run, depend on flight availability with the different airlines, last year the trip was Tuesday to Saturday and flew with Cathay. Once final details are confirmed parents and students will be informed
Parents are responsible for arranging the necessary visas, but RCHK can provide supporting letters to help with this process
If there are more applications for this trip than there are spaces available, students will be chosen based on the citation they submitted on the google form sign up and in discussion with Head of Year and trip leader
This is a Year 8 and 9 trip based in China
Travel will be via plane and coach
Please note the meeting point on the first day of the trip will be Hong Kong Airport. This is also where students will be collected upon their return to Hong Kong
