Day 1:
Explore Guangzhou, Chaji Island and Foshan
Including, Chaji Island, guided tour, Lion Dance and Kung Fu workshops and treasure auction
Day 2:
Explore Foshan, Nanfeng and Tangkou
Ancient kiln exploration and workshops, blue dye workshop, ceramic tile-making and TK space
Day 3:
Explore Tangkou village
Including farm to table cooking, cycling the diaolou, historical/cultural preservation and murder mystery evening
Day 4:
Explore Tangkou and Zilicun
Including photography challenge, TK space project, buffet dinner and party pit
Day 5:
Return to Hong Kong
Including mosaic workshop, dim sum brunch, bus and train to West Kowloon
KEY FACTS:
This trip is 5 days and 4 nights
It will run from Monday to Friday
Parents are responsible for arranging the necessary visas, but RCHK can provide supporting letters to help with this process
If there are more applications for this trip than there are spaces available, students will be chosen based on the citation they submitted on the google form sign up and in discussion with Head of Year and trip leader
This is a Year 7 only trip based in China
Travel will be via high speed train and coach
Please note the meeting point on the Monday will be West Kowloon. This is also where students will be collected upon their return to Hong Kong on the Friday
