Smart Campus is also managing the new STEAM exchange programs over the European Academic and Culture Festival (EACF) starting in 2025 with the aim to provide academic and cultural acquaintances and design programs for the needs of specific schools.
This is a rare and unique opportunity for our students to experience a musical and cultural exchange with selected students in Austria, in the form of a joint choral performance to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Sound of Music production. Students will have an invaluable experience taking part in vocal and choral training facilitated by local professional musicians. The best part is, no prior vocal training is needed as anyone with an appreciation of the arts is welcome!
Why Austria?
Austria is known to be a country with strong musical and cultural traditions. Vienna, the 'City of Music' had numerous composers and artists once calling it their home, while Salzburg, the birthplace of W.A. Mozart, was also where the Sound of Music was filmed. The historical centres of both Salzburg and Vienna are also recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
