Cary Kronwald - Superintendent of Education – Program Services
Cary Kronwald earned a Masters of Education from Charles Sturt University, a Diploma of Education from Concordia University College of Alberta, and a Bachelors of Arts from Carleton University. He brings 22 years of experience in supporting student success, including 11 years as a school administrator for the Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB). Cary has experience in both Elementary and Secondary public education, as well as District-wide initiatives including the Board Leadership Development Strategy and piloting student learning models that were then adopted by the UCDSB.
*Michele Whiteduck - Algonquin Language Teacher
Michele has been teaching Algonquin language at Eganville and District Public School since 2008. Algonquin Language is offered to Indigenous and Non-Indigenous students at EDPS from Grades 4-8. Michele supports students in connecting to language and culture through Indigenous ways of knowing and learning at school.
*Adam Bernard - Algonquin Education Liaison Worker
Adam is the Algonquin Education Liaison Worker at Eganville and District Public School. He has been supporting Algonquin students from the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation since 2008. Adam is the Liaison between the school and community. He collaborates with staff, students, families and the Education Department in Pikwakanagan to ensure a positive school experience for First Nation youth and their families.
