SJBB Competition 

St. Jerome Book Battle Dates:

Middle School (6th-8th Grades) Competition - Monday, March 9, 2026 

Elementary School (4th/5th Grades) Competition - Monday, April 20, 2026

• There will be some water bottles and snacks available for participants, not spectators. This will be available in the lobby during the break.  

• In an effort to start the rounds as soon as possible, the rules will not be read before the competition begins. Coaches are asked to do this before the competition.

• Competitors may come in their school uniform or in a team t-shirt with a uniform bottom.

• The middle school competition will be held entirely in the auditorium and will have plenty of room for spectators. The 4th/5th grade competition will have some space limitations with rounds taking place in the band room. 

• Everyone should pack a lunch or may order lunch to be delivered. Parents, however, are free to leave the competition to get coffee and food.

*Parking is available in the paved lot in front of the Fine Arts Center. There is no parking in the parking garage. We ask that coaches and parents carpool, when possible, to ensure that parents driving students have a place to park
