The Penpointers are the editorial board for The Compass. It began in the 1936-37 RUHS school year. Prior to 1936, the editorial board was called The Writers' Club.
In the initial editorial board meetings this spring, our team of student editors voted to re-adopt the the traditional editorial board name and the traditional magazine name, as both are steeped in RUHS history.
This year's Penpointers represent a wide range of grade levels, disciplinary specialties, and personal interests. For this Spring 2024 issue, the Penpointers voted on everything from theme for the magazine to the font. They provided light edits and suggestions on student artwork.
