Who can participate?

All RBUSD students in grades TK-12 are eligible to participate. 

Where is the event taking place?

RBUSD's Invention Convention will take place at the student's respective school site. Please register here. 

What is the timeline for all of the Invention Convention events this school year?

Week of February 20-23, 2024: Students compete at their site/district event.

End of February 2024: Students selected to represent RBUSD at the CA Invention Convention Southern Region (*This is new this year. There will not be a Regional event before State competition. Students will go from district level straight to state level this year.)

March 23, 2024: CA Invention Convention Southern Region @El Camino College

June 5-7, 2024: National Invention Convention

August TBD 2024: The Americas Invention Convention
