Lessons Learnt

Riddhi Maheshwari from V-E shares with us the lessons learnt by her during the pandemic.

Important Lessons Learnt from the Pandemic

No one ever imagined that we would experience such a hard, rigid, disturbing time in our lives. The situation went far worse than expected.

The Pandemic has changed our perception of life. I agree that the pandemic had a significant impact but looking onto the other side of the coin, we have learned many lessons in the past two years.

Firstly, we should not spend money unnecessarily and should save it for an unexpected situation.

Mental health is equally important as we need to be strong to face anything that life offers.

Community, family and friends are very important in our lives. We have understood the importance of interpersonal relationships over gadgets.

To enhance our physical health, we should change our diet plan. Carbs and junk food are not the best choice anymore.

We should always be open to accept change and fight challenges, that’s why we were able to adapt to online teachings, virtual celebrations, work from home etc.

We have understood the value of others’ lives too, as we opt to wear masks and use sanitizers.

We learned many lessons from ‘The Covid 19 Pandemic’, to stop being woeful, be strong, fight along and don’t panic.

At this unpredictable time, situations annoy us but relationships, health, share and care must be our first choice.

From Use to Reuse

Students of Grade-5 participated in a Craft Competition on the theme ‘From Use to Reuse’. They used their creative skill brilliantly and turned dull bottles into brightly coloured vases & pen stands, scraps of paper into cute little dollhouses, oil cans transformed into flower pots, lampshades and magically designed cabinets. They proved to us that when things and situations seem alarming, they can be changed or converted into something charming.
