We would like to invite all new BAC students to Balfour’s Spend-a-Day, to be held Monday, June 26 from 1:00-2:45 pm. At this event, you will get a chance to meet your Arts Collective teachers, other Arts Collective students, as well as the rest of the Balfour graduating class of 2027! Spend-a-Day starts at 1:00 pm, and all students will meet in the Balfour gymnasium. Further instructions for the afternoon will be given from there.
Please note that grade 10, 11, and 12 students new to BAC are welcome to attend this event as well. Current Balfour students do not need to attend this event.
Students who currently attend one of our feeder schools (Thompson, Arcola, Douglas Park, WF Ready, Wascana Plains, Jack Mackenzie) will be bussed to Balfour for the Spend-A-Day along with their grade 8 classmates. If your student does not attend one of these feeder schools, families will be responsible for transporting their student to and from Balfour Collegiate for this event. In addition, if your student does not attend one of these feeder schools, please inform their elementary or high school of their absence for that afternoon.

Students are focusing on creating a solo work by using creative process strategies. We can't wait to see what our students create. Thank you to the Sask Arts Board, Sask Lotteries, Sask Culture, and the Government of Saskatchewan through the Ministry of Education for supporting this project.
