Hurricane Milton; What Happened?

The crack of thunder would pierce through the sky and sea water would rush over land and flood many families' houses. It would take lives, houses, and personal belongings from many families. This is how Hurricane Milton affected the lives of Florida homeowners.
Hurricane Milton started as a small storm in the Western Caribbean Sea on October 7th 2024 it turned into a category 5 storm. Hurricane Milton almost reached a category six in strength which has never been seen before. Hurricane Milton reached the land near Siesta Key, Florida on october 9th 2024 and was deemed a category 3 hurricane with winds that were 120 mph. Hurricane Milton had an abnormal path that went from West to East and straight across the Gulf of Mexico.

In Florida, hurricane Milton knocked the power out for 2 days. 1,200 people were saved from hurricane Milton, most of the people were saved from flooded houses. Milton cut through numerous countries.
“Hurricane Milton looks very depressing and I feel terribly bad for those who had to suffer through the hurricane. I hope they are recovering well.” Says Rue Robinson, a sixth grade student at Edgewood Junior High School. According to the New York Times the tornadoes from Milton killed about 6 people. During Hurricane Milton there were about 46 tornadoes, the most ever recorded in one day in Florida. Tons of houses were flooded, crushed, and completely demolished. Hurricane Milton is noted as the atlantics 5th most intense hurricane. It was based on pressure.
As a result a number of people lost their homes, lives, belongings, etc due to hurricane Milton and they are currently trying to clean up the hurricane mess. The hurricane has obviously calmed down but the people are still tidying up. Countless electricians from all over the country came all the way to Florida to assist with getting the power back on. Many volunteers came to donate everyday supplies like food, clothes, pet care, gas, and et cetera.

To sum up this article hurricane Milton was a record breaking storm because of how it went from a category 1 hurricane to a category 5 hurricane within a short amount of time. It's also gonna be remembered for how many tornadoes it spawned before it hit land.
