The chairperson's journey began in 1977 with the establishment of a trading company in Chennai specializing in construction materials. Recognizing the potential in the burgeoning construction sector, the company quickly established itself, becoming a major dealer for leading brands of cement and steel by 1980.

This strategic positioning allowed the chairperson to capitalize on Chennai's rapid infrastructure development and industrial growth, as noted by the Government of Tamil Nadu and CMDA. The chairperson's vision led to a significant expansion in 2005 with the commissioning of a Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) plant at Senneerkuppam, Chennai, a move that aligned perfectly with the peak of infrastructure development in Chennai and Tamil Nadu at the time.

The success of this initial RMC venture fueled further expansion, with six more RMC plants commissioned between 2006 and 2011. Four of these plants were strategically located in Chennai, while two were established in Southern Tamil Nadu, specifically in Tirunelveli and Madurai. This period saw significant growth in the RMC industry in India, driven by urbanization and infrastructure modernization initiatives such as the Smart City Mission. 

The Vice Chairman plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of a company's assets, while also contributing significantly to its business development efforts. He is responsible for the effective management of the company's rolling stock, ensuring its optimal performance, maintenance, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This individual oversees the inventory of all machinery, vehicles, and equipment, ensuring accurate records, proper maintenance, and timely replacement or disposal as needed. He also ensures robust asset tracking systems are in place, allowing for efficient monitoring and management of all company assets. The Vice Chairman monitors and ensures timely payment of all applicable service and insurance premiums related to company vehicles and assets.

Our CEO is a highly accomplished leader with an MBA postgraduate degree and a deep passion for innovation in the construction industry. He has been instrumental in establishing numerous Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) plants, a testament to his practical expertise and strategic vision.

The director has a Commerce degree from Loyola College, Chennai, providing a strong foundation in business principles. The director also holds a Diploma in International Business from Singapore, providing a global perspective on business operations and strategy. Additionally, a Diploma in Audio Visual Communication showcases a diverse skill set and modern communication methods.

The director is fluent in multiple languages, including French and Japanese, which fosters international collaborations and understanding of diverse business landscapes. Certified as an auditor from TUV for ISO, the director is committed to quality and process excellence.

With a focus on innovation and industry leadership, the director is developing the RMC (Ready Mix Concrete) Industry, ensuring its continued prominence in and around Chennai through a dedication to the highest standards of quality and service. The director also drives the adoption of Geopolymer concrete and Lafarge permeable concrete within the RMC Industry. His interest in these innovative materials positions the company at the forefront of sustainable and technologically advanced construction practices.

Mr. Antony Sachin Raja is a qualified engineer and a driving force behind the success of the AGR Group of companies.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Panimalar College of Engineering, a highly regarded institution. He also pursued post-graduate studies in Construction Project Management (CPM). During his studies, Mr. Raja trained at various batching plants. He gained experience and a strong understanding of building materials like steel, cement, and concrete.

Mr. Sachin Raja is known for his youth, dynamism, enthusiasm, and innovative approach. His leadership and strategies have yielded remarkable results and propelled the AGR Group to success in the construction industry.

The Board includes a charming and dynamic leader, a distinguished alumnus of SRM University's Bachelor of Architecture program. His enthusiasm inspires the team.

He has extended the company's reach, creating connections with prominent builders and government contractors at all levels. His networking capabilities have broadened the company's scope and opened new opportunities.

The Director has established a presence in India's infrastructure sector. His leadership has ensured the timely completion of numerous technically challenging and high-value projects. He identifies major government works and has a strong network of contacts among ministers and chief engineers in various government departments.
