Welcome to our Year 3 website. Here we will be able to send reminders, share letters, photos and key dates, as well as what the children are learning this term.

Our week

📖Reading morning is every Tuesday from 8:45 - 9:05am 📖

⚽PE days are usually Monday, Wednesday and every other Thursday ⚽

Trips and events

On Tuesday 2nd December year 3 will visit the Natural History Museum as part of our science topic on rocks, soils and fossils. For this trip, children will need a packed lunch. We would also like to invite four parents from each class to join us.

Accessing Google Classrooms

All the children's passwords can be accessed on Google Classroom. 

Follow these steps to access Google Classroom and the passwords: 

1) Open Google and type - login google classroom

2) Open the tab and enter the childrens login details: 

Username: the children have been sent home with their login. If you don't have it, it is the first 3 letters of their first name and the first 3 letters of their surname. For example: aaabbb@raymat.net. 

Password: All the children know their password.  It is what they use for our computing lessons. 

3) Go to classwork and then click on the file that says passwords. 

Books 

All children have been given a book to take home and read. Please ensure the book is returned to school when it is finished to enable your child to take another book home. They can also use Accelerated reader at school to quiz the books they have read at home.

What Year 3 Are Learning About

Geography: This term the children will be learning about climate zones.

Science:  The children will be learning about rocks, fossils and soils.
