Welcome to our Year 3 website. Here we will be able to send reminders, share letters, photos and key dates, as well as what the children are learning this term. 

 Announcements 

On Tuesday 16th September at 3:30pm in 3A please join us for meet the teachers. Come and find out what your children will be learning about in year 3 and ask any questions you may have.  

Trips and events

On Tuesday 7th October year 3 will visit Saint John's church, Walthamstow, as part of our R.E topic on Christianity in Britain.   

On Tuesday 2nd December year 3 will visit the Natural History Museum as part of our science topic on rocks, soils and fossils. 

Accessing Google Classrooms

All the children's passwords can be accessed on Google Classroom. 

Follow these steps to access Google Classroom and the passwords: 

1) Open Google and type - login google classroom

2) Open the tab and enter the childrens login details: 

Username: the children have been sent home with their login. If you don't have it, it is the first 3 letters of their first name and the first 3 letters of their surname. For example: aaabbb@raymat.net. 

Password: All the children know their password.  It is what they use for our computing lessons. 

3) Go to classwork and then click on the file that says passwords. 

Books 

All children have been given a book to take home and read. Please ensure the book is returned to school when it is finished to enable your child to take another book home. 

What Year 3 Are Learning About

History:

This term the children will be learning about the Stone Age in Britain.

Science: 

The children will be learning about rocks and soils. 

Maths: 

It is not possible to list the topics in maths because the children are taught in groups.
