My name is Lou Nu'uali'itia, and I will be one of your kaiako next year. My hobbies are walking on the beach, going for coffee or dinner with friends and travelling. I love watching my children play sports or perform on stage for Polyfest or Tūhono.
I grew up on a farm in Southland, in a place called Riversdale. We moved to Sydney when I was 11. When I turned 14, we moved back to Timaru, and I finished my schooling at Roncalli College. After that, I spent some time in Auckland, where I met my husband and worked in the travel industry. We have 2 kids (Lachy 18 and Brooke 16) and when they were 3 and 5 I decided teaching was going to be my next career.
My family and I moved to New Brighton 18 months ago, and I am very excited to be part of the Rāwhiti community.
