六年级的时候我没学会很多。但是六年对我的中文旅途很重要，因为那一年我开始对中文感兴趣。我七年级和八年级的时候学会了一点儿，可是我们还没写很多汉子。我们只练习了怎么说中文和怎么读拼音。但是那两年我学会了怎么写句子和一点儿语法，也学会了说话的时候怎么用声音。这两高中的年我学会了最多。我不但学会了新的生词，而且学会了新的语法。语法非常重要，因为如果你知道怎么用更难的语法，你就可以写更长的句子。高中的时候我也说中文说得快一点儿。但是我还得学很多，所以我能说中文更快，记得怎么写更多汉子，和听懂非常快的说话。
In sixth grade, I did not learn much. However, sixth grade was important to my Chinese journey because that year, I became interested in Chinese. In seventh and eighth grade, I learned a bit, but we still did not write many characters. We only practiced how to speak Chinese and how to read pinyin. However, in those two years, I learned how to write sentences and a little grammar. I also learned how to use tones when speaking. In these two upper school years, I learned the most. I not only learned new vocabulary, but I also learned new grammar. Grammar is very important because if you know how to use difficult grammar, then you can write much longer sentences. In high school, I am also speaking Chinese a bit faster. However, I must learn a lot more, so I am able to speak Chinese faster, remember how to write more characters, and understand fast conversations.
