中学
这两个作业都关于我的生活，可是左边是我七年级做的，右边是我八年级做的。八年级做的作业有更多的语法和新的生词。句子还有一点儿长，因为我八年级学了怎么用“可是。”
These two assignments are both about my life, but the one on the left is one I did in seventh grade, and the one on the right is one I did in eighth grade. The asignment I completed in eighth grade has more difficult grammar and vocabulary. Sentences are also a bit longer because I learned how to use "but" in eighth grade.
九年级
在这个视频，我介绍了一下春节很多传统。我还告诉了大家年兽的故事。年兽住在海洋里，可是有的时候，他去附近的城市吃人，所以他让大家非常可怕。可是一个老人告诉他们年首不喜欢红色的颜色，所以城市的人都贴了红纸。那一年，年兽一个人也没有吃。他回去海洋里。告诉这个故事以后，我还教了大家怎么做一个纸牛。
In this video, I introduced a bit the Spring Festival’s many traditions. I also told everyone the story of Nian. Nian lives in the ocean, but sometimes, he goes to nearby village and eats people, so he makes everyone very scared. However, one old man told them that Nian does not like red, so the people in the village put up red paper. That year, Nian did not eat even one person. He returned to the ocean. After telling this story, I also taught everyone how to make a paper cow.
在这儿介绍的歌是《我的梦》，是一首情歌。因为我不常听音乐，选一首歌非常难。但是我觉得学一点中国的音乐很有趣，因为我能看中国音乐比美国音乐怎么样，另外我能用我学会的语法介绍一位有名的人。
The song introduced here is My Dream. It is a love song. Because I do not listen to music often, picking a song was very difficult. However, I thought learning a bit about Chinese music was fun, because I was able to see what Chinese music was like compared to American music. Moreover, I was able to use the grammar I learned to introduce a famous person.

I first wrote this reflection online. After that, I wrote it on paper, so after this assignment I understood I write characters very slowly. I know that many people write characters faster than they type characters, but I write characters too slowly. Although this assignment took a lot of time, I still think that this assignment was very cool because typed characters are not as beautiful as written characters. I hope I will be able to write characters faster and faster.
十年级
在这个菜单我介绍了几个饮料和菜。我介绍的最想吃的东西是担担面和小笼包，因为我喜欢担担面的辣味，另外我想品尝小笼包里热热的汤。做这个菜单的作业很好玩儿，因为我对别的国家的菜感兴趣。中国菜太好吃了，所以我很高兴我学会了一点中国菜。
On this menu, I introduce a few beverages and dishes. My favorite dishes I introduced are dan dan noodles and soup dumplings because I like the spicy flavor of dan dan noodles, and I would like to try the hot soup inside the soup dumplings. This menu assignment was fun to do because I am interested in other countries’ cuisines. Chinese cuisine is very delicious, so I am happy I could learn a little about Chinese cuisine.
这是我看《青春派》以后写的心得。这个作业让我思考了很多，因为在现在的世界里性别歧视还是一个非常重要的问题。这是我最难的中文作业。虽然我知道我想写什么，可是我现在不知道生很多神祠，也不知道怎么用更难的语法，所以我不能写我的想法。但是我希望我两三年以后我能写更多难的句子。
This is the reflection I wrote after I watched Young Style. This assignment made me think a lot because in today’s world, gender inequity is still a very important issue. This assignment was my most difficult Mandarin assignment. Although I know what I want to write, I currently do not know enough vocabulary or how to use more difficult grammar, so I cannot write what I am thinking. However, I hope that in two or three years, I will be able to write more difficult sentences.
在这儿我介绍怕哈干的天气。怕哈甘是一个很小的城市在印度的北部。它不太有名，可是它的风景这么漂亮，所以我介绍了这个地方。怕哈甘的天气平常也不太热，不太冷，所以去那儿旅行很舒服。但是冬天太冷了，所以冬天不是去那儿旅行的最好时间！
Here, I am introducing Pahalgam’s weather. Pahalgam is a very small town in the northern part of India. Pahalgam is not too famous, but its natural scenery is so beautiful, so I wanted to introduce this place. Pahalgam’s weather is typically not too hot and not too cold, so it is very comfortable to travel there. However, the winter is too cold, so winter is not the best time to travel there!
这是我给我笔友写的信。我去年夏天在一个中文认识了她，所以写这封信不太难。她也是十年级的学生，可是她在Durham Academy上课。他的爱好是游泳。虽然我没跟她见面很多次，可是我对她的印象很好!
This is the letter I wrote to my pen pal. Last summer, I met her, so writing this letter was not too difficult. She is also a tenth grade student, but she attends school at Durham Academy. Her hobby is swimming. Although I did not meet her many times, I have a good impression of her!
