PreK and Kindergarten

PreK and Kindergarten students had the opportunity to spend time in the Kol-lab examining their fingerprints. Using different colored inks, students placed their fingerprints on cardstock. They then used the digital microscopes to examine their fingerprints up close. Afterwards, the students took turns looking at other objects and materials under the microscopes.

To conclude, PreK solved the mystery of "Who Stole the Cookies from the Cookie Jar?" by matching the fingerprint on the cookie jar with the suspects' fingerprints.

Kindergarten also completed a science/art activity and used their knowledge of the microscopes to look closer at the materials used in the art project (crayon wax, watercolor, and salt).
