Charles River Number Lines

This work-in-progress project uses STEAM skills to integrate learning in Math and Science. The first unit in Grade 2 mathematics is all about using the number line as a tool for addition and subtraction. Students created large-scale interactive number lines where a creature can physically jump along the line. Students used watercolor paint to create river scenes and chose an animal or plant as the jumper. More photos will be added as we continue working.
