Social Studies Inventions

Grade 7

Each year, students in Grade 7 learn about an invention and then share that information through a written piece and a poster. This year, Mr. Civin wanted to add some additional options for the finished product, leading to a collaboration between Grade 7 Social Studies and the Kol-lab.

Students researched the history of an invention and were given the chance to represent their knowledge through four project choices: a poster, 3D timeline, pop-up book, or a 3D replica. Students had access to all Kol-lab tools and materials, and we were so excited to see some of the unique ways students manipulated materials.
